What do you need to know to start a project?

What if I don't know my budget?

If you don't know your budget, even a ballpark number is helpful. Why? We're more likely to find great ideas that work for you than if we try to show you “everything” at once.

Can you get any retail brands?

Yes, we have access to a limited selection from many retail brands' product lines including North Face, Nike, S'well, YETI, Marine Layer and more.

Why are you telling me this logo doesn't work when it looks perfectly fine?

Most of the time we can't use a logo because that file type doesn't have enough detail for us to accurately duplicate it on the merchandise.

If you need a higher resolution file for your order but don't have one, no problem. We can re-create your logo in the format we need.

What if I don't like anything in the presentation?

It happens. Especially when we're starting to work together. If we don't hit on The One right away, let us know and we'll send you more ideas. We'd much rather hear your feedback than nothing at all. (In other words, please don't promo-ghost.)

Can you send me a sample?

Surprises are fun, but not when it comes to branded merchandise. When time allows, we'll send you a sample of the product you're considering so you can see it in person before you place an order. (This is called a random sample.)

For larger QTY orders, we require a pre-production sample so you know exactly what the finished product will look like before we move to production.

I don't have final art. Can you help?

Yes, we can offer solutions to fit every size project from adding an event date under your logo to creating original art for a custom piece. For more involved projects, you'll receive an estimate before any work is done.

What's the strangest order you've ever done?

We were once asked to find black capes that would fit around inflatable dinosaur costumes. Yes, we found them. Pictures available upon request.

JPG, PNG, EPS, AI, OMG. What are you talking about?

These are just types of files with different degrees of detail. (Except for OMG.) If this all sounds like Greek to you, let us know and we'll send you our File Type Cheat Sheet.

How long does it take to receive an order?

Normal production is 7 to 10 business days after approval of the sales order and proof. This estimate doesn't include transit time from the factory to the final destination which can be anywhere from 1 to 5 days via Ground shipping.

I forgot to order branded merch! Can you help?

Most factories also offer RUSH and we can always expedite shipping.

Depending on what you're looking to do and available inventory, we can receive your call in the morning and have something shipped to you by the end of the next business day.

Why would I use Done & Done when I can order product online myself?

You could go that route, but why? Done & Done has established supplier relationships and product knowledge to help guide you through the selection process. Once the order has been placed, we'll oversee production and make sure your order ships on time.

Can you create custom pieces?

Definitely. We have both domestic and overseas options for custom work.

What are these PMS colors you keep asking me for?

PMS colors are the numbers that ensure we're using the right colors when we print your logo. Think of them like a universal code everyone has agreed to use to identify the exact shade of a color.

Is custom always expensive?

Depending on your project quantity, it may be less expensive to do something custom overseas. There are also many “hybrid” options where we can customize a stock piece without going overseas. We can help you sort out the best path forward based on your timing, QTY, and budget.

Can you send me references from current clients about their experience working with you?
